The
Hurlstone Environment Committee established in 2007 is one of a number
of organisations that operate at Hurlstone Agricultural High School. The Environment Committee is a student-organised group, aiming to raise awareness on sustaining the environment throughout the school and the community. The new executive body has been planning on new projects that will get students more actively involved.The
committee also have general meetings every week to discuss issues of
interest for the committee. In these meetings the executive body advises the
committee on issues they want to be addressed. They meet every week to discuss the
Environment Committee's goals and direction for the future.
The
Environment Committee's executive body
consists of a President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, Publicity
Officer, Green-leaders, Water Manager, and Recycling Manager.
