White Ligers

Actor and Environmentalist Ian Somerhalder Designated as UNEP Goodwill Ambassador on World Environment Day 2014

“What scares me the most about climate change is, within 50 years, half of all species on earth will be extinct. We will be experiencing floods and droughts that will prohibit agriculture and fisheries. It’s going to be increasingly difficult for us to get food and water. And within that lies the balance of our very existence."

Are you prepared to head to work or wherever you normally spend your day, dressed head-to-toe as an endangered animal?
That's our challenge to Australians during Wild Onesie Week from Monday 2 – Friday 6 June 2014. By wearing a Onesie and going about your daily business – in a fun way, you’ll get a sense of what it’s like to be an endangered species for a day. Wild Onesie Week is a new national community event designed to raise:
  • awareness about endangered species, and
  • funds for WWF Australia to continue their critical work.
